Images Unlimited, Inc., was founded in 1979 in St. Louis, Missouri, as a photographic art gallery. Carole's business represented over 70 photographers worldwide. Framed original photographs were sold as decorative art for homes and businesses.
Carole started using Photoshop in the mid-1990's. This led to restoring photos for neighbors and then starting a photo restoration business. Creative Photo Services began with restoration and now includes photo manipulation, thanks to many requests for adding or removing people, pets, and objects. Changing a photo's background is also a popular request.
Digital mats provide exact color coordination, a variety of textures, and optional personalized text. The mat can even be a photographic image, a number, or a letter!
The most recent service is the DVD photo show using the customer's photos and sometimes their video clips. All photos are put into Photoshop to enhance the colors and composition. Then the photos are turned into a photo show using ProShow Producer, the top-of-the-line slide show software program. Carole's photography background comes into play when using the complex software. The specialized website for her shows is
www.CreativePhotoSlideshows.com.
Music "makes" the DVD photo shows. Carole's background in music aids her in making the photos move appropriately to the music. Her father played the bass. She plays the piano. She attended the Berkley School of Music in Boston.
Creative Photo Services is located in Overland Park, Kansas, a southern suburb of Kansas City. The population of the Kansas City metropolitan area is 1.8 million people. The office is a home office filled with the latest high tech equipment. There are many photo samples hanging on the walls. The before and after prints give the customer ideas for their own photos. Many DVD photo shows are available to look at on a DVD player and the computer.
